Pacific Economics is proud to support the Federated States of Micronesia men's and women's national basketball teams.
Our work across the Pacific is built on long-term relationships and a commitment to the people and communities of the region. That commitment extends beyond our client work.
In 2026, Pacific Economics sponsored the jerseys for the Federated States of Micronesia men's and women's basketball teams, helping support Pacific athletes as they represented FSM on the regional stage.
Gold for FSM
The FSM men's team went on to win the 2026 FIBA Micronesian Cup in Guam, securing qualification for the 2027 Pacific Games in Tahiti.
The title was decided over two legs. FSM won the first game and earned a draw in the second, giving the team the championship on aggregate.
For Pacific Economics, it was especially meaningful to see the team compete in jerseys carrying our name.
One of Our Own
The connection to Team FSM is also personal.
Pacific Economics Financial Analyst Noah Adams played center for FSM after spending several weeks working remotely from Pohnpei while training with the team.
His performance and leadership earned him a place in the tournament's All-Star Five.
Noah's experience reflects something important about Pacific Economics. Our team does not simply work on Pacific issues from a distance. Our people live in the region, build relationships here, and participate in the communities we serve.

We believe strong communities create strong economies. We also believe Pacific people should have the opportunity to compete, lead, and succeed on their own terms.
Sponsoring the men's and women's national team jerseys gave us an opportunity to support that principle in a practical way.
